Concerned Parents, Inc. is a non-profit 501c3 social service agency with over 38 years of history servicing residents primarily in South West Philadelphia. We consider ourselves a "neighbor-helping-neighbor" community family based organization. We believe in mobilizing our resources, and, that the people around us are our biggest asset. The monumental goals and accomplishments we have consistently achieved over the years happen because of the common vision we share in addressing all detrimental factors that affect our community.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to uplift our community in the following areas:

  • To Provide compassionate service to the needy, elderly, homeless, and ex-offender members of the Southwest Philadelphia community.

  • Revitalizing Southwest Philadelphia through innovative ideas and measurable goals, by providing resources to the community at large.

  • Encouraging individual and collective self-improvement through education.

  • Addressing and countering issues that separate or divide families.

  • Providing referrals to City and State agencies for further family support.

  • Supplying emergency food to the needy. Provide clothing, especially in the areas specific to employment. Assist families with obtaining furniture to help improve their living conditions
