Hi, my name is Minnie Moore-Johnson, and I am the Executive Director/CEO of Concerned Parents Incorporated. Welcome to our website. I'd like to explain a little bit about our organization and how it originated. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live in a clean home, receive an education to their maximum ability, and obtain decent employment that comes with fair wages and benefits. It is every mother and father's right to raise their children in a safe and nurturing environment. To this end, I have devoted my life in the cause of helping others secure these very basic things.
Many daily challenges or obstacles can trigger low self-esteem. For instance imagine living in a home where you have to wake up each morning with the inability to bathe because of a broken bathtub. Or imagine being unable to prepare breakfast for your family because there is no decent stove in the home or the refrigerator is broken. These things are sometimes taken for granted by those of us who have them, but imagine, if you can, how different your home would be without the basic necessities of daily living.
